Renee Boyoung Kim, School of Business, Hanyang University
Renee B. Kim is Professor of International Business at Hanyang University, and Director, Korea Institute of Sustainable Economy (KISE). Previously she had served as Associate Dean of International Relations for School of Business for 7 years from 2007-2013 with an oversight of Assurance of Learning in the Hanyang University Business School (HUBS), and also had been Associate Vice President of International Affairs for 2013-2016 at Hanyang University. She has actively engaged in the fields of global education, sustainability & Creative economy, globalization, global marketing. Renee spearheads numerous global student mobility programs at Hanyang University and bridge the gap between student educational talents and Korea’s strategic development goal of enhancing its global leadership. She serves as a board member of various academic associations, also leads ‘Korea Institute of Sustainable Economy (KISE) - a research institute, which is funded by Korea National Research Foundation (KNRF), and established to advocate dynamic socio-economic interchange between Korea and its trading partner countries, particularly in Asia-Pacific. She was also a member of the Economic Advisory Council of Korea Development Institute (KDI), a leading think tank in Korea that sets a visionary course for the national agenda. In terms of academic activities, she has been involved in several international projects that promote dialogue between North America and Asian countries. She was a Monbusho scholar, and led an international project to assess Japan, Korea and Canada’s commodity market trade prospects and challenges. She was a member in the East Asian Food Security program, which was initiated by the ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (AJCEP), a consultative organization in AMAF+3 countries.
Arun Pereira, Centre for Learning and Management Practice, Indian School of Business
Arun Pereira, Ph.D is a member of the Permanent Faculty at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, India and Executive Director of ISB’s Centre for Learning and Management Practice. He is also Emeritus Faculty, Saint Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri, USA and previously, External Faculty at McKinsey & Co. Professor Pereira has over 30 years teaching experience in the US, Europe, and Asia, and is on the Board of Directors of the International Schools of Business Management, and nominated as AACSB's Global Facilitator for Assurance of Learning. He has won multiple teaching awards in Executive MBA, and MBA programs including being voted as the Outstanding Professor, Executive MBA at the Boeing Institute of International Business, St. Louis, USA (2004 and 2005) and voted ISB’s Professor of the Year (2012 and 2013). His research in the area of marketing has appeared in various journals including Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Journal of Management Science (OMEGA), International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Product and Brand Management, Psychology and Marketing, Journal of Retailing, Industrial Marketing Management, and Journal of Business Ethics; his research in teaching and learning has appeared in various journals including the Learning Organization and International Journal of Training and Development. His books include Papal Reich (Author House, 2002), and The Culturally Customized Web Site (Elsevier, 2005).
