Cathy DuBoisCathy DuBois, Kent State University

Dr. Cathy DuBois is associate dean for administration at the Kent State University, College of Business Administration in Kent, Ohio. Prior to joining the dean’s office, Cathy served as professor of management and information systems, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in human resource management and sustainability. Cathy holds a PhD in industrial relations and human resource management from the University of Minnesota. She continues to publish her research in top journals and book chapters, and presents at national and international conferences. She sits on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Management Inquiry. Cathy is a past chair of the AACSB Associate Deans Affinity Group (ADAG) board; she serves on board of the Women Administrators in Management Education (WAME) Affinity Group; and she is an active member of the Responsible Management Education (RME) Affinity Group. Cathy has presented in ADAG pre-conference sessions and at AACSB Associate Deans Conferences. She co-facilitates AACSB’s Seminar for New Associate Deans.

John Mooney John Mooney, Pepperdine University

Dr. John Mooney is executive director of the Institute for Entertainment, Media and Culture at Pepperdine University and associate professor of information systems and technology management at Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business and Management. At the Graziadio School, Dr. Mooney previously served as associate dean for academic affairs and online programs from 2014 to 2015; as department chair for strategy, entrepreneurship, information systems and decision sciences from 2012 to 2014; and as associate dean for academic programs at the Graziadio School from 2005 to 2010. In the latter role, his responsibilities included leadership and oversight of the development and delivery of the Graziadio School’s portfolio of degree and certificate programs. He co-founded the AACSB Associate Deans Affinity Group in 2008 and served as its founding chair. In collaboration with Deborah Spake, John developed the AACSB Seminar for New Associate Deans in 2011. He was the conference co-chair for the 37th International Conference on Information Systems that was held in December 2016 in Dublin, Ireland. Dr. Mooney holds a BS in computer science and a master of management science both from University College Dublin, and a PhD in information systems from UC Irvine. He was a visiting scholar at the MIT Sloan Center for Information Systems Research from 2010 to 2011 and continued his affiliation as research associate until 2016. His current research interests include IT-enabled business innovation (aka “digital innovation”) and business executive responsibilities for the management of IT and information resources.
