Plenary I: VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) 

Jikyeong Kang, Asian Institute of ManagementJikyeong Kang, Asian Institute of Management, Philippines

Jikyeong Kang was named dean and president of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) after joining the institution only nine months prior.  Previously, Jikyeong was Director of the DBA Program at Manchester Business School, UK (2010 to 2014). At MBS, she also served as Director of the Postgraduate Centre in charge of MBS’ MBA Programs from 2001 to 2007, where she was instrumental in propelling the full-time MBA Program’s Financial Times ranking from 47th in the world in 2002 to 22nd in 2007. Jikyeong has also taught around the world as a Visiting Professor, including IE, RSM, ESSEC, HEC, and CEIBS. Jikyeong serves on the AAACSB International Board of Directors, is a member of multiple AACSB affinity groups and committees and co-presented at ICAM 2016 on “Building a More Collaborative B-School.” She earned her bachelor's degree from Hanyang University in Seoul, her master's degree from Colorado State University, and her PhD from the University of Minnesota.

Yvonne (Youngsook) Park is the president and senior partner of FleishmanHillard Korea, a global communication consultancy.

Since joining the firm in 2002, Yvonne has built a strong reputation in strategic communication, specializing in risk management and public affairs. She and her team have been on the frontline of communication on behalf of many businesses and organizations, advising CEOs and leaders in crisis management in order to change conversations and achieve their business goals.

She has taken advisory roles for various committees including 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics PR Committee and the Presidential Council on National Competitiveness. She serves as a director of the board for the Beautiful Foundation, Make-A-Wish Korea Foundation and is a member of WCD Korea. Her office received Gold Award in Public Sector Campaign of the Year at 2016 PRWeek Asia Awards. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University in Seoul and a Master of Arts degree in Advertising from University of Texas at Austin.

Giselle Weybrecht is a recognised advisor, speaker, thought leader, social entrepreneur and author focused on sustainability and businesses. She is the author of The Future MBA: 100 Ideas for Making Sustainability the Business of Business Education (Routledge) and bestselling The Sustainable MBA: A Business Guide to Sustainability (Wiley). She is the founder of PRiMEtime with the UN, and GOWI (an online learning platform focused on sustainability). Giselle is a Special Advisor to the United Nations Global Compact/Principles for Responsible Management Education and in 2017 received the UN Pioneer Award for her work.
