Maintenance of Accreditation Seminar
February 7, 2012

If your school is getting ready to go through the maintenance process, this seminar is critical to your success. Emphasizing a shift from a reaffirmation philosophy to a maintenance philosophy, take part in this seminar to examine the steps in maintaining accreditation. Discover how maintaining accreditation is a part of an ongoing review that focuses on continuous improvement, to maintain business or accounting accreditation status. Maximize your experience—attend two events in one trip. Separate registration is required for each event.
 

Friday, February 10
1:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m.

The expanding world of management education increases the demand for deans to serve as AACSB volunteer review team members and mentors. Attending this volunteer review training will provide you with an opportunity to join the hundreds of volunteers already serving in this capacity. During this training, you will learn about the various volunteer roles in the accreditation process and the review process, as well as the accreditation philosophy of overall high quality and continuous improvement. Learn about the decision-making process and receive tips and guidance on how to prepare for and conduct the visit. No additional fee is required, but registration is strongly encouraged.

Who should attend:
Current accreditation volunteers or those who are interested in becoming a volunteer. (Deans, heads of business units, and chairs of accounting departments at AACSB-accredited institutions are eligible to become accreditation volunteers).

Guest reception package: Your guest is welcome to attend both the Welcome Reception and the second reception held on the 2nd night of the event. The fee for the reception package is $100 U.S. We encourage attendees to pre-register their guest ahead of time; however, the reception package will be available on-site at the registration desk Wednesday, February 8th from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.
