  • Typical student demographics and/or trends: There are about 7.3 million students enrolled in undergraduate programs in Brazil. Of these, 73 percent are in 2,100 private institutions, and 27 percent in 300 public institutions. There is a predominance of women (55 percent) in higher education, and 15 percent of total students are in distance learning programs. There are 800,000 business school students, the largest number compared to all programs.[1]
