If your school is getting ready to go through the maintenance process, this seminar is critical to your success. Emphasizing a shift from a reaffirmation philosophy to a maintenance philosophy, take part in this seminar to examine the steps in maintaining accreditation part of an ongoing review that focuses on continuous improvement to maintain business or accounting accreditation status. The seminar also presents an overview of the latest changes and interpretations in the AACSB standards.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of the philosophy behind maintenance of accreditation and the maintenance review process.
  • Learn to prepare a Maintenance Review Application including eligibility requirements, requirements for program exclusions, and required tables.
  • Explore the elements of a successful maintenance review process.
  • Review the Maintenance of Accreditation timeline.
  • Understand roles and responsibilities of the applicant, team member, and committee.
  • Learn possible recommendation outcomes, such as extension of accreditation and what initiates a sixth-year review.
  • Learn how to get the most out of the shortened visit schedule.
  • Review sample reports and explore the role of data reports and the criteria for comparison group selection.
