Event Description:
There is a broad consensus among business schools
about the need to globalize the curriculum content of business
degree programs. Several recent studies have emphasized the
importance of developing a global perspective in business students
that helps them to understand how best to manage and lead when faced
with economic, institutional, and cultural differences across
countries.
This seminar focuses on the effective approaches to curriculum
development that incorporate interdisciplinary conceptual
frameworks, content from multiple disciples, and experiential
learning pedagogies to provide students with a deep appreciation for
cultural, legal/regulatory, political, and economic differences
across countries.
