We look forward to seeing you at the Global Collaboration Conference 2008. The information below outlines arrangements made for meeting participants.
 

The conference begins with registration on Sunday, 16 November 2008 from 17:30 – 19:00 hours. Registration will take place at IESE Business School. The conference will end on Tuesday, 18 November 2008

The hotel is located within 30 minutes walking distance from the IESE campus (transfers to and from the conference will be organized). The hotel is located right in the heart of the city’s financial and commercial district, within easy reach of the international airport, the Fira de Barcelona conference and exhibition complex, Palau de Congresos de Cataunya and all the major tourist attractions and shopping centres. It has been refurbished in 2002 and is surrounded by gardens and elegant shops.

The hotel is situated at a 20 minute walk from the IESE campus ( transfer to and from the conference will be organized). The hotel is located in the highest point of Barcelona, close to the Nou Camp Football Stadium. The IESE campus is a 30 minute walk (transfer to and from the conference will be organized). The hotel is 15 minutes from Barcelona Airport, 5 minutes from Sants Train Station, 10 minutes from the Plaza de Espãna, and 4 minutes from the Collblanc Metro Station.
 

Each delegate is responsible for making his or her own hotel reservation. The cost of the hotel room is not included in the registration fee. Any guestroom changes, cancellations, etc., are the delegate’s responsibility and must be made directly with the hotel according to the guidelines below in order to avoid financial penalty. A room block is being held at the above hotels for the Global Collaboration Conference participants. When making reservations, please ask for the Global Collaboration Conference block to receive the preferred room rate.

Reservations must be made before 15 September in order to receive the above rates. Sleeping rooms are based on availability and may sell out prior to the cut-off date.
 

Hotel accommodations are to be paid directly to the hotel when checking out. Your credit card details are required to guarantee your reservation. 

The cancellation schedule is as follows:

Before August 31, 2008 no charge will occur.
Between September 01, 2008 and October 01, 2008 one night will be charged.
After October 01, 2008 two nights will be charged.
After October 14, 2008 entire stay will be charged.

By Bus

Aerobus is a shuttle bus service that runs regularly between the airport and the city centre. A single ticket costs 3.60€ and the journey will take 25 to 30 minutes roundtrip.

By Train

Barcelona Sants or Catalunya Stations. A single ticket costs 2.60€ and will take approximately 25 minutes.
