HOTEL RESERVATIONS
|
Each delegate is responsible for making his or her own hotel reservation.
The cost of the hotel room is not included in the registration fee. Any
guestroom changes, cancellations, etc., are the delegate’s responsibility
and must be made directly with the hotel according to the guidelines below
in order to avoid financial penalty. A room block is being held at the
TradeWinds Island Resort for AACSB International Conference participants.
Preferred room rate pf 149 USD per night plus tax for a standard hotel or
standard parlor room, 159 USD per night plus tax for a tropical hotel room
or Gulf Front Parlor or 175 USD per night plus tax for a Gulf Front Hotel
Room. When making reservations, please ask for the AACSB Conference block to
receive the preferred room rate. The TradeWinds Island Resort must be
contacted no later than May 26, 2008 to receive the group discount room
rate. Sleeping rooms are based on availability and may sell out prior to the
cutoff date.

HOTEL CANCELLATION POLICY
|
All
reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card or a first night’s
room and tax deposit. A guaranteed reservation not cancelled prior to 6:00pm
central standard time on the day of arrival will be charged one night room
and tax to the method of guarantee.

LOCATION/ GROUND
TRANSPORTATION FACTS
|
The TradeWinds Island
Resort is approximately 30 miles away from the Tampa International Airport
and the St. Petersburg / Clearwater Airport. A taxi will cost approximately
70 USD to 90 USD one way.
The TradeWinds Island Resort has an onsite transportation company. The
company is Studio Transportation and would need to be contacted before you
travel to arrange a pick up. Their direct phone number is 1-866-403-3303.
They will need your flight details and contact information in order to
schedule a pick up. Studio Transportation runs directly between the Tampa
International Airport and the TradeWinds Island Resort with no other stops
for a price of 121 USD roundtrip. They also can help you with transportation
to local attractions.

Parking is available at the resort for 15 USD per day for self parking and
