natural resources, new technologies, and eco-effective design principles to
build a sustainable future. The chief of the Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Inc.
and co-founder of Hawaii BioEnergy, will share his experiences working with
leading entrepreneurs and landowners to craft an energy independent future for
the islands.

Po-yang (Po Chung)

Chung Po-yang (Po Chung) will discuss how the viability, productivity, and
sustainability of productive social networks depend on the level of mutual trust
between network members. Born in Macao in 1943, Po-Chung matriculated from St.
Stephens College in Hong Kong in 1963. He went on to obtain his Bachelor of
Science degree in Fisheries Management from California State University at
Humboldt in 1969. In 2006, he earned a Master of Fine Art degree from the Royal
Melbourne Institute of Technology University. Po Chung has been a featured
speaker to such prestigious groups as the Pacific Rim Forum, Business
International, BusinessWeek International, and many graduate schools of
business.
