The Challenges of Administration and “Herding Cats”:
 Women and Business School Leadership

The Women Administrators in Management Education (WAME) Affinity Group is making a special effort at this year’s AACSB and EFMD International Conference and Annual Meetings to include as many women faculty and administrators from around the world as possible in our program.  The WAME session will utilize cases drawn from actual experiences and provide opportunities for discussion of these among small groups of women from various backgrounds, i.e., current deans, associate deans, chairs, faculty members, program directors, and others.

The intent of the session is to provide a forum for frank discussion about the special challenges in the pursuit of successful leadership careers within the academy and the ability to effectively:

Balance priorities Persuade Compromise   Communicate

(In other words, “herding cats”)

Join us to gain insight into how others approach the myriad challenges of business school leadership and for valuable networking opportunities!

WAME Case Call To provide an engaging framework for discussion and an opportunity to discuss issues that are critical to you, we invite you to submit brief cases from your personal experiences.
