University of Toledo Post-Doctoral Bridge to Business Program

Criteria Summary
 
Discipline Focus Supply chain management, Operations Management, Management, Marketing, Sales and CRM Technologies, Information Systems Management, and Technology Management.
Program Length Seven-week intensive summer program followed-up with a two-day review program in the fall. 
Curriculum Delivery Eight modules delivered in-residence supplemented by Internet-based instruction during the summer. An in-residence capstone experience will be scheduled in the fall. Students will be assigned a faculty mentor to facilitate research progress. 
Student Capacity 25–30 per year
Cost 25,000 USD including tuition, fees, lodging, and food
Program Initiation Date June, 2008 
Student Selection Criteria

The students will be selected to the program based on the following criteria.

  • Prior academic work for the doctoral program, grade point average, and GRE scores
  • Evidence of continued research productivity: refereed journal publications, publications in refereed conferences, etc.
  • Quality and reputation of the doctoral program from which the applicant graduated
  • Recommendation letters
  • A detailed statement of purpose for doing the AQ Bridge program
  • Work experience in business related fields
