AACSB Board of Directors Election Takes Place January 16–31, 2018

Official representatives of AACSB member institutions will soon be asked to vote for open positions on the AACSB International Board of Directors. Official representatives will be contacted by email on January 16 and provided a link to cast votes electronically.

Representatives will have until January 31 to vote for the following candidates:

Vice Chair-Chair Elect: Uncontested

  • John A. Elliott, University of Connecticut

Board Member—Representative of an Organization From the United States (Accredited): Three positions to be filled with each to serve a three-year term

  • Maryam Alavi, Georgia Institute of Technology
  • McRae C. Banks, The University of North Carolina at Greensboro
  • Amy Hillman, Arizona State University
  • Erika Hayes James, Emory University
  • Stefanie A. Lenway, University of St. Thomas-Minnesota
  • Sarah E. Nutter, University of Oregon

Board Member—Representative of an Organization From Asia Pacific (Accredited): One position to be filled for a three-year term

  • Rajendra K. Srivastava, Indian School of Business (India)
  • Lin Zhou, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China)

Board Member—Representative of an Organization From Canada (Accredited): One position to be filled for a three-year term

  • Robert Helsley, University of British Columbia
  • Leonard Waverman, McMaster University

Board Member—Representative of an Organization From Europe, Middle East, or Africa (Accredited): Two positions to be filled with each to serve a three-year term

Board Member—Representative of an Organization from the United States (Non-Accredited): One position to be filled for a three-year term

The election will be held during the last two weeks of January 2018 and the results will be announced in early February. Newly elected board members will take office on July 1, 2018.
