About the Hotel

Located next to the Chinese University of Hong Kong and University MTR Station, this Sha Tin hotel offers direct access to Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong Island, Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau at Shenzhen, via the Mass Transit Railway. The hotel is only a 5-minute ride from Hong Kong Science Park and Sha Tin Racecourse, and 30 minutes by taxi from Hong Kong International Airport, with numerous Sha Tin attractions and landmarks nearby.

Resort hotel leisure facilities include Melo Spa, 25-metre outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool, tennis court, Fitness Centre with steam and sauna offering fitness membership, and Camp Hyatt for children.

Hotel Reservations

Each delegate is responsible for making his or her own hotel reservation. The cost of the hotel room is not included in the registration fee. Any guestroom changes, cancellations, etc., are the delegate's responsibility and must be made directly with the hotel according to the guidelines below in order to avoid financial penalty. A room block is being held at the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin for AACSB International Conference participants. Preferred room rate is 1210 HK per night for a Mountain View room, or 2310HK for a one-bedroom executive, plus tax. When making reservations, please ask for the AACSB Conference block to receive the preferred room rate. The Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin must be contacted no later than April 18, 2013 to receive the group discount room rate. Sleeping rooms are based on availability and may sell out prior to the cut-off date.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

All reservations must be guaranteed and accompanied by a first night's room deposit. Deposits will be charged to the credit card after the cutoff date of April 18, 2013.

 

Location & Ground Transportation Facts

From Hong Kong International Airport to hotel
Located at Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong International Airport is conveniently accessible via hotel limousine, taxi, public airport bus, and Mass Transit Railway (MTR).

Limousine
Hotel limousine (normally a 4-seater Mercedes Benz S350) takes approximately 30 minutes from the airport to the hotel, and costs HK$650 per car per trip. Our airport representative will meet you at the Arrival Hall with a hotel signage and escort you to the limousine. Advance reservation is necessary.

Taxi
A direct taxi ride from the airport to the hotel would cost about HK$300 per car (max 5 persons each), depending on the traffic.

Public Airport Bus
Public Airport Bus no. A41 goes from the airport to New Town Plaza in Sha Tin, for HK$22.3 per person. It departs every 25 min at the Airport Bus Terminus, and the journey takes approx. one hour. Subsequent interchange with MTR rail or taxi would be required.

The MTR ride from Sha Tin station to University station would take about 10 min and costs HK$4 per person. Taxi ride from Sha Tin to our hotel directly would cost around HK$60 to HK$80 per car (max 5 persons each), depending on the traffic.

Airport Express
Airport Express train to Tsing Yi Station takes 15 min, and costs HK$60. Subsequent taxi ride to the hotel is necessary, which takes about 25 min and costs approx. HK$130.
