Purpose
The Maintenance of Accreditation Committee (MAC) oversees applications for Maintenance of Accreditation for business programs. The committee ensures that the Accreditation Standards are applied consistently, and that recommendations are equitable across Peer Review teams and the programs reviewed.

Structure
The MAC is comprised of a minimum of nine members and a maximum of 18 members, plus a chair appointed by the Board Vice Chair-Chair Elect. One member of the committee will be chosen by the Board Vice Chair-Chair Elect to serve as Vice Chair of the Committee. The MAC chair is a business or accounting administrator from an AACSB-accredited institution. Committee members may be present and former business and accounting administrators from AACSB-accredited institutions, faculty members from accredited institutions, and corporate executives. Committee members serve staggered three-year terms. Normally the MAC Chair serves two consecutive one-year terms.
