Initial Accreditation
The Initial Accreditation Process follows the successful completion of the
Eligibility Application and the
PreAccreditation Process. Initial Accreditation includes the
Initial Accreditation Committee’s (IAC) review of the
Standards Alignment Plan and suggestions for its modification. Initial Accreditation must be achieved within five years of the IAC’s acceptance of the Accreditation Alignment Plan. Once a school achieves Initial Accreditation, it will be placed in a five-year Maintenance Review cycle.
