Will a school that meets all of the AACSB Accreditation Standards always be accredited?
AACSB Accreditation is focused on recognizing "overall high quality" and "continuous improvement" in the context of each business school's mission and strategic management plan. Quality is the key. A school that sets very low expectations for itself and follows
the AACSB Accreditation Standards
in meeting a mission that does not represent appropriate expectations for a
leading business school should not be awarded with AACSB Accreditation.
Approaching alignment with the standards in a mechanistic, compliance manner will not produce a positive accreditation outcome. Again, the focus is quality.
