Accounting PreAccreditation
Following the successful completion and approval of the Accounting Eligibility Application, an institution will enter the Accounting PreAccreditation Process. This process also is similar to the Business PreAccreditation Process. It includes a thorough review of the information submitted with the Accounting Eligibility Application, a mentor visit, and the development/approval of a Standards Alignment Plan that aligns a school with the
AACSB Standards and its own strategic objectives. Once a school completes this phase, it will be recommended for
Initial Accounting Accreditation.
