Initial Accounting Accreditation
Initial Accreditation for accounting functions similarly to business. The process follows the successful completion of the
Accounting Accreditation Eligibility Application and the
PreAccreditation Process. Initial Accounting Accreditation includes the
Accounting Accreditation Committee’s (AAC) review of the Standards Alignment Plan and suggestions for its modification. Initial Accreditation must be achieved within five years of the AAC’s acceptance of the Standards Alignment Plan.
Having achieved Initial Accreditation, the school is placed in a five-year
Maintenance Review cycle.
