Accreditation Coordinating Committee (ACC)
Purpose
The Accreditation Coordinating Committee (ACC) coordinates the work of the
operating committees, and it authorizes improvements to the processes and
procedures supporting accreditation activities. The ACC may recommend
improvements to accreditation standards to the Accreditation Quality Committee.
The ACC also reviews satisfaction of Eligibility Criteria by schools in the
preaccreditation, initial accreditation, and maintenance of accreditation
process and determines the scope of the institution’s accreditation review.
Structure
The Board Vice Chair-Chair Elect appoints the ACC chair and
members of the committee based on recommendations from members and staff. The ACC chair serves two consecutive one-year terms.
