Overview: Forbes ranks full-time and part-time MBA programs based on return on investment--using measured compensation five years after graduation minus tuition and the forgone salary during school.

Summary of Methodology:

In a survey sent to the alumni of MBA programs, Forbes asks for pre-MBA salary information and salary and compensation figures for three of the first five years after getting their degree. Post-MBA compensation is compared with opportunity cost, which includes tuition and foregone salaries (while in the program) and what students may have earned while in their pre-MBA jobs. Salary figures are adjusted for cost-of-living and earning gains were discounted based on money market yields. More …
