AACSB International and Net Impact are deeply saddened by the reports of destruction and loss of life coming from Haiti. We send our most heartfelt condolences to those who have directly endured such hardship, as well as to those who have friends and loved ones in the region. In this time of need, may each find hope in knowing that there is truly an international outpouring of support – both in tangible generosity and richness of spirit.
AACSB has partnered with Net Impact to encourage members around the world to join the relief efforts to help alleviate the suffering from this disaster. Net Impact is a global organization of students and professionals using business to improve the world with chapters on more than 150 MBA and graduate school campuses.
Join and donate to the cause.
In addition to providing emergency relief, the following organizations represent the many international charities that have established funds specifically for Haiti relief:
Actions speak louder than words.
As educators and corporate citizens, we have the unique opportunity on a daily basis to mold the minds, actions and benevolent spirit of the next generation of leaders. During a time of such crisis and as socially responsible concerns, it is now that we must encourage our communities to join in the universal relief efforts and answer the call with fundraising and volunteer efforts.
In the coming weeks, AACSB and Net Impact will feature organizations (business schools and corporations) that have best embodied the spirit of generosity and social responsibility. Send your stories to amyp@aacsb.edu and tell us how your school or business has provided the much needed assistance to the Haitian community.
Thank you for your consideration.
