Program Requirements

Applicants generally should have no more than 1–2 years of teaching experience and will be screened by AACSB International based on the following requirements:

Preferred Candidate

Master's degree and professional experience of significant duration and responsibility related to area of teaching assignment:

• Actively practicing in professional and/or consulting assignment at time of application
• Minimum of 5–7 years of recent extensive professional and/or senior level management experience
• Minimum of 7 years of in-depth industry experience with significant levels of responsibility and expertise
• Actively contributing to the field of expertise through written contribution, participation in professional development activities, and experience
• Outstanding managerial or professional achievements that have significantly impacted an organization or the industry

Master's degree in a field other than desired teaching area with work experience of significant duration and responsibility related to area of teaching assignment: 

• Actively practicing in professional and/or consulting assignment at time of application
• Minimum of 5–7 years of recent extensive professional and/or senior level management experience
• Minimum of 10 years of in-depth industry experience with significant levels of responsibility and expertise
• Actively contributing to the field of expertise through written contribution, participation in professional development activities, and experience
• Outstanding managerial or professional achievements that have significantly impacted an organization or the industry

Application Process

If referred to the Bridge Program from the March 2009 Journal of Accountancy please note: preferred candidates should possess a master’s degree and relevant work of significant duration and responsibilities.  Professional certification and significant experience in audit or tax are key to eligibility for the AICPA Foundation Scholarship Program.  Please refer to the Program Requirements section for more detailed information on the selection criteria.

Program Registration and Tuition

The cost for participation is $5,000.

Program tuition includes the following:
Instruction from top business school faculty
All course materials (training manuals and case studies)
