About the Hotel
The Philadelphia Marriott Downtown hotel commands a towering presence in the heart of America's original capital. Surrounded by rich revolutionary history and culture, this Philadelphia hotel's downtown location exceeds the expectations of both business and leisure travelers. Guests can take in the sights of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell located within eight blocks. A collection of fine restaurants are located on-site or within walking distance of this hotel in downtown Philadelphia in addition to the city's best shopping and entertainment venues.
Hotel Reservations
Each delegate is responsible for making his or her own hotel reservation. The cost of the hotel room is not included in the registration fee. Any guestroom changes, cancellations, etc., are the delegate’s responsibility and must be made directly with the hotel according to the guidelines below in order to avoid financial penalty.

A room block is being held at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown for AACSB International Seminar participants. Preferred room rate is 179 USD per night, single or double occupancy, plus tax. When making reservations, please ask for the AACSB room block to receive the preferred room rate. The Philadelphia Marriott Downtown must be contacted no later than September 2, 2011 to receive the group discount room rate. Sleeping rooms are based on availability and may sell out prior to the cutoff date.

Hotel Cancellation Policy
All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card or a first night’s room and tax deposit. You have until 6:00 p.m. day of arrival to cancel your reservation with no financial penalty.

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is approximately eight miles from the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. The estimated taxi fare is 26 USD one way.

The Amtrak station is one mile from the hotel, 30th street station.
